Accessibility

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• You can navigate the whole site with a keyboard, and a "Skip to content" link appears when you start tabbing.
• Text can be zoomed to 200% and the layout adapts to phones and tablets.
• Colours are chosen for strong contrast, and information is never shown by colour alone.
• Pages use proper headings and labels so that screen readers can describe them.
• Forms explain errors in words next to the field that needs attention.

Known limits

• Documents uploaded by our projects, such as PDFs, may not be fully accessible. Tell us if you need one in another format.
• Some images added by project teams may not yet have a text description.
