How we work
Our name describes our approach. To sow is to do something that will eventually bring about a result. To nurture is to care for and protect something while it is growing.
1. A challenge is raised
Anyone can tell us about a problem that needs attention through our challenge form.
2. Solutions are proposed
People and organisations with ideas, projects or skills tell us how they could help through our solution form.
3. Projects take root
Where a challenge and a workable solution meet, we look at how we can help it happen: by delivering a project ourselves, by supporting others to deliver it, through education and training, or with a grant.
4. We nurture what grows
Every project gets its own page on this site, where you can follow its progress, news and events. See our current projects.
